UCLA Women in Science and Engineering Summit

On May 13, 2005, Executive Dean Patricia O’Brien and Dean Vijay Dhir hosted a summit of Deans, Chairs and faculty representatives from the College divisions of Life Sciences and Physical Sciences and the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Sciences to examine the current status of women faculty in the sciences and engineering and to recommend strategies for the equitable recruiting, hiring and retaining of UCLA’s next generation of faculty in the sciences and engineering.
